Today both groups visited the Holocaust museum. We thought this was just another usual museum visit, but then realized that we were the first Rakoczi group to see this museum. During our visit we were able to experience the pain and degradation suffered by the Jews, enhanced by the visual and side effects of the exhibits. The flow of the exhibits mimicked the life and subsequent persecution of the Jews. The final exhibit was followed by a set of steps leading out of the museum, symbolizing the present and the future of the Jewish people.
